🔐 PRIVACY POLICY – Electrician IQ

Electrician IQ is an educational and utility-based application designed to help users learn electrical concepts, use simulators, estimate materials, and generate PDF reports.
We respect user privacy and are committed to protecting personal and project-related data.
1️⃣ Information We Collect
🔹 A. Personal Information (Login Required)
When users sign in, we may collect:
Email address
Name and profile information (via Google Sign-In, if enabled)
This data is used only for authentication and account management.
🔹 B. User-Generated Data
Users may enter:
Electrical calculation data
Simulator and material estimator inputs
Project-related information for PDF generation
This data is:
Created by the user
Controlled by the user
Not shared with other users
🔹 C. Cloud Sync (Google Drive)
With explicit user permission, the app may:
Save generated PDFs
Backup app-related data
Important:
Data is stored only in the user’s own Google Drive
The app cannot access other Drive files
Users can disable sync at any time
🔹 D. Automatically Collected Information
We may collect limited non-personal data such as:
Device information
App usage statistics
Crash and performance logs
Advertising identifiers (if ads are enabled)
IP address and approximate location (for analytics and ad serving)

Electrician IQ may use:
Google Firebase Authentication (Login)
Google Firebase Analytics (Usage & performance)
Google AdMob (Advertisements, if enabled)
Google Drive API (User-authorized cloud sync)

3️⃣ Ads & GDPR / Consent
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other regions where required by law:
We display a consent form before showing ads
Users can choose to accept or reject personalized ads
Users can change their consent choices at any time from the app settings (if available)
Ads may be:
Personalized ads
Non-personalized ads

If we operate multiple applications under the same developer account,
we may use Google’s consent synchronization feature to share user consent
choices across these apps.

Only consent choices related to European regulations (GDPR) are synchronized.

Data is used only to:
Authenticate users securely
Provide simulator and estimation features

All data transfers use encrypted (HTTPS) connections
Cloud data is stored in the user’s Google account
Access is limited by user permissions

Electrician IQ is rated 3+ and suitable for general audiences.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Delete local app data
